Why is H3 investing in the Inn?

Because we heard you! Guests like you have voiced recommendations on improving our accommodations, and we’re excited to deliver.  The inn will offer comfortable private room options for individuals or couples.  We will still offer villa options for individuals desiring more space or for group reservations.  

How large is the Inn?

The Inn is a 2-story structure that offers 3 room types and a total of 30 rooms. The rooms are a spacious 325-650 sq. ft. and more than half will have washer/dryers in the room for your convenience. 

Will the Inn offer anything else besides guest rooms?

The Inn features the following common areas:

  • Rocking Chair Porch overlooking H3’s pool deck
  • Gathering space for game nights, movie nights and more
  • Lobby/lounge to enjoy conversation with fellow guests

Can I share a room with a friend?

Rooms in the Inn are designed with 1 king bed per room and have a maximum occupancy of two. The Inn will not have adjoining rooms.  Friends attending together are encouraged to share a 2- or 3-bedroom villa that provides a common space along with your own private bedroom and bathrooms. 

Will the standard arrival/departure days still be Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays?

Yes, as Hilton Head Health’s programs are best experienced with a natural flow of the week with these arrival days. Requests for other arrival/departure dates are handled case by case and are based on availability.  *Stays less than 5 nights are reserved in our Comfort King rooms only – upgrades will be granted based on availability. 

Will you offer room upgrades?

Room upgrades may be offered based on availability.

Is the Inn handicap accessible?

The Sweetgrass Inn will have a ramp entrance and an elevator option for the second floor. There are also 2 fully handicap-accessible rooms on the main floor.

Will there be room service?

Hilton Head Health’s nutritional plan expands beyond flavor and nutrition – we promote mindful eating and enjoying the community around you. For this reason, room service will not be offered at the Inn.

Is the Inn pet-friendly?

While we will not accommodate pets in the Inn itself, we will continue to offer a dog-friendly accommodation option for those looking to bring a furry friend.

Will there be daily housekeeping at the Inn?

Guest rooms will be serviced twice per week – a tidy on Wednesdays and a full clean on Sundays. Guests will have the option to request additional service if needed.

What about laundry?

Our Signature King rooms and Sweetgrass Suites will have washer/dryer units in the room for your convenience. Guests staying in a Comfort King Room will have access to a washer and dryer on their floor. 

Will the Inn be staffed overnight?

The Inn will not be staffed 24/7 – requests for clean towels, housekeeping service, etc. can be made during business hours to our Concierge team.

Will Hilton Head Health guests be able to have visitors in the Inn?

Guests planning to have visitors during their stay are required to register their visitor through Hilton Head Health’s Concierge team. All rooms in the Inn have a maximum occupancy of two and will not accommodate children.  Guests who plan to have more than one visitor can reserve a Private Villa.  While visitors are not granted access to Hilton Head Health’s campus amenities, they can participate in meals and spa services for an additional fee. 

When will it open?

The Sweetgrass Inn officially opened as of March 14th, 2021.   

How will the Inn impact H3’s rates?

The addition of these 30 rooms will give Hilton Head Health more flexibility around managing our room inventory and will in turn offer a greater variety of rate options to our guests.
